How we write these guides

• Gear guides explain categories and trade-offs instead of pushing one brand. Prices and models change fast, so we focus on what to look for.
• History guides stick to well documented facts: dates, places and what changed. Where a story is disputed, we say so.
• We do not publish album covers or copyrighted artwork. Images are free-licensed photos from Wikimedia Commons, credited on every page.
